Highlights

This study aimed to complete a detailed mapping exercise, an after-action review of past emergency responses and a gap/bottleneck analysis of the WASH in Emergency sector’s responses in several affected areas in Indonesia. Findings showed strong capacity for responses in WASH with evidence of gender and social inclusion being considered.

The report includes a National Roadmap and Capacity Building Plan to strengthen coordination mechanisms and capacity of the sector.
