The latest data on children’s rights are maintained globally by UNICEF Headquarters in New York.  The data is gleaned from national household surveys, censuses and administrative systems. It is cross-checked by a team of UNICEF and other UN experts to ensure consistency and conformity with international terms and definitions. The data is updated on a rolling basis, with key publications released throughout the year.
