Highlights
The Sixth Multiple Indicators Survey (MICS6) in Guinea-Bissau was carried out in 2018-2019 by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, through the General Directorate of Planning/National Statistics Institute (INE), under the Global MICS Programme. The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) provided technical and financial support for carrying out the survey. Additional financial and logistical contributions were provided by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The purpose of this report is to facilitate the timely dissemination and use of the Indicator Survey (MICS) results. The report contains detailed information on the survey methodology and all standard MICS tables. The report is accompanied by a series of statistical tables of the main survey results.
