ATHENS, NOVEMBER 22, 2021: Initiated by the First UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Greece, Helena Paparizou, a viral challenge kicked off on Friday, November 19 on social media with the theme “If I changed the world”. Celebrities from the world of politics, journalism, entertainment, fine arts, teachers, YouTubers, young and old, shared their thoughts, through posts and videos, about what they would change in the world today for every child!

Indicatively,  Elena Paparizou calls on all of us to ensure that "every child grows up in a healthy family", journalist Mara Zaharea emphasizes the importance of "emotional security, education as well as love and acceptance", MP and former Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni envisions a "greener and fairer world where children will live safely without discrimination", Elena Rapti calls for "zero tolerance for child sexual abuse".

Eleonora Zouganeli wishes all children "to live a beautiful and meaningful life, to feel free and be safe as well as to share their ‘light’ with all of us", Fotis Sergoulopoulos, Despina Kampouri and Haris Sianidis call on us to ensure "equal access to education for all children without exceptions and discrimination ", Vicky Stavropoulou emphasizes the importance of" health and love "in the daily life of every child, Nikos Koklonis invites us to change whatever makes children afraid and suffer, YouTuber Sakis Karpas calls for a society where "children are and feel safe" and journalist Maria Iliaki wishes "all children around the world find a reason to smile every day".

Also, the famous TikToker Anna Balan calls to ensure that "children with disabilities grow up with the love they deserve and urges for technologies that will help them integrate into society more effectively.

Last but not least, little Christos, the youngest participant of the challenge, invites all children to enjoy their childhood through a carefree game encouraging them to " stay away from electronics and screens"!

The challenge continues at @unicefgreece for those who want to share both their vision and proposals for improving access, daily life and safety of every child in Greece.
