Calling All Gen Z Ghana TikTok Creators
Join the TikTok Youth Content Advisory Group & Become a U-Reporter!
Are you passionate about making Ghana's online space safer, more engaging, and representative of the youth and children? We want your voice!
We are assembling an exclusive Volunteer TikTok Youth Content Advisory Group made up of active Ghanaian creators—the ultimate Gen Z content volunteers—who will also sign up to be U-Reporters to drive positive social change.
Who We're Looking For
- Age: 13 – 25 years old (Gen Z vibes preferred!).
- Platform Status: Must be an already active TikTok user with an understanding of trending content, safety features, ethically aware with knowledge of the Ghanaian and global TikTok community.
- Commitment: Volunteer-based passion to guide content policy and influence youth-focused messaging.

- Call Out Closes: Monday, November 10th | 11:59 pm
Your Application Challenge (Keep it Short & Sharp!)
To apply, you must submit a single application that covers three quick points:
- Your "Why": A short write-up (no more than 150 words) detailing why you want to join the TikTok Advisory Group.
- TikTok Challenge: A video or written pitch (max 60 seconds/150 words) for a creative and engaging TikTok Challenge to promote UNICEF World Children's Day (November 20th). Think fun, awareness-raising, and high-impact! (World Children's Day 2025)
- Consent: If you are under 18, you must include a line confirming you have parental or guardian consent to participate. If successful, this will be followed up with a signed form provided by UNICEF Ghana.
How to Apply
- Video File format
- Duration: 1 minute 30 seconds (90 secs) maximum.
- File size: High-quality video of 100MB max
- Video orientation: Landscape or portrait
- File type: mp4 only
- Close-up to the camera shot. You can use the back camera or selfie style.
- Filename: Rename the file name to: yourfirstname_yourlastname.mp4
Bonus Impact: Become a U-Reporter
All applicants are required to sign up as a U-Reporter and must be following UNICEF Ghana (@unicefghana) social media channels. U-Report is a free tool by UNICEF that lets you speak out on issues that affect you and your community in Ghana via SMS, WhatsApp, or Facebook.
