Minimum Qualification and Competencies:
Qualification: Advanced university degree in the social/behavioral sciences, (Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Health Education, and Mass Communication) with emphasis on participatory communication, communication planning, social mobilization, participatory research, training and impact evaluation of communication interventions
Experience: Eight years progressively responsible work experience in the planning and management of social development programmes, including two years in developing countries, with practical experience in the adaptation and application of communication planning processes to specific programmes. Specific experience in C4D for WASH programmes – will be considered an advantage/asset
• Current knowledge of the latest developments and technology, in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, develop, plan and manage programmes, as well as to impart knowledge and teach skills.
• Leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Supervisory and managerial skills.
• Excellent analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.
