UNICEF WASH Officer, Ituri Zonal Office, holds a baby in a UNICEF supported IDP camp in Bunia, the capital of Ituri Province, DRC. When the interethnic violence flared up in December 2017, nearly 400,000 people fled their homes in Djugu Territory, the epicenter of the violence, to the capital and settled in makeshift camps.
