Independent corporate evaluations
For every child, results.

Independent corporate evaluations by goal area
Independence forms the bedrock of good evaluation practice as it is fundamental to the credibility and utility of an evaluation. The Evaluation Office commissions independent global evaluations based on the office’s Global Evaluation Plan 2018-2021, which is informed by the agency’s Strategic Plan and developed in consultation with the Global Evaluation Committee, Programme Division and offices, divisions and units at headquarters. Institutional Effectiveness Evaluations analyze key organizational strategies and activities and inform corporate decisions to improve institutional relevance, efficiency and effectiveness.
The Independent Corporate Evaluations unit undertakes independent, high quality corporate-level evaluations, generating and synthesizing evaluation evidence relevant to priority topics to promote and protect children’s rights with a key focus on the 5 goal areas of the strategic plan. The unit also conducts evaluations on UNICEF’s corporate priorities such as gender and innovation among others.
