The Your Voice Your Future Campaign
A campaign to elevate the voices of young people across the EU and Africa
The 2021 release of the Your Voice Your Future report, allowed more than 450,000 young people across Africa and Europe, to share their opinion the issues that concern them the most; from education, to peace and security, digitalisation and the environment.
The release of this flagship report, provided a unique opportunity for UNICEF to elevate the voices of these young people and influence the European and African political agendas. Additionally, the voices of youth are key to defining the future direction of the partnership between Africa and Europe.
UNICEF, the EU and the African Union Commission, have joined forces with young people across the two continents and elevate their voices in the lead up to this February's AU-EU High Level Summit, to shape policy and the lives of young people in the post-COVID era.
All communication and advocacy activities carried out by UNICEF in the run-up to the Summit will focus, in sequence, around the key themes of the report and are anchored in a Call to Action. The Call to Action is signed by our U-Report Ambassadors on behalf of the 450,000 young people who took part in the Your Voice Your Future U-Report poll. This call to action, along with other assets (including a video compilation) will be presented to European and African leaders at the 6th EU-AU Summit.
