Adolescent Engagement on Sexual Reproductive Health Report
The evidence from this report will enable the Ministry of Health to provide targeted interventions towards the adolescent and youth that will have maximum impact on reducing unintended pregnancies, new HIV infections and AIDS-related deaths, and STI’s.

The report of the "Adolescent Engagement on Sexual Reproductive Health in Eswatini" provides a comprehensive overview of the current condition of adolescent sexual and reproductive health in the country, as well as recommendations for enhancing related outcomes. The report analyzes data from 2015 to 2020, using a triangulation methodology and contains information on demographics, service delivery, menstrual hygiene management, sexual behavior, gender-based violence (GBV), maternal health, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV, and youth not in education, employment, or training (NEET). Specifically, the report includes recommendations from youth and stakeholders for enhancing the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents in Eswatini. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health is taking steps to implement these recommendations, which include increasing awareness of menstrual hygiene management and addressing GBV.
