    • Highlights

    The report provides comprehensive estimates of child poverty in Malawi using both income and multidimensional measures and based on the recent Integrated Household Panel Survey from 2013. We construct a unique multidimensional child poverty indicator (MCPI) for Malawi following methodology proposed by UNICEF which anchors domains of deprivation on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and measures deprivation at the individual child level.
