Born and raised in Rafah, North Sinai, Farah was excited to visit Alexandria for the first time this year.
The 9-year-old accompanied her mother, who works as a nurse, and a group of 60 other healthcare professionals working at different primary healthcare facilities in North Sinai governorate to a training designed by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and UNICEF and funded by Japan to help them address key healthcare issues at a hardship region.
This training is part of the collaboration between UNICEF and MoHP to provide high-quality essential health and nutrition services to children and women in affected areas in North Sinai.
Farah turned out to be very helpful at some parts of the training as this photo essay explores.
