A scene for a OneMinutesJr video shot on a playground in Kyiv today.

Halftime at the OneMinutesJr workshop in Ukraine. We have to film quite a number of videos today to stay on course for the final presentation on Friday afternoon.

The first one today is Alena. Alena has a little brother who is HIV-positive. She is worried about the stigma he carries and the way he is sometimes treated by other children. In her film, she will show a boy on a swing who is bullied by others. Alena: "I want to exaggerate the situation and shock people. They should be more aware of what it means the person being bullied. It is horrible, especially in this case since a little boy cannot change the fact that he is HIV-positive and it is not his fault either."

Checking the footage: Two young OneMinutesJr participants take a closer look at the materials they just filmed.

Denis (14) lives in a family with his parents and two sisters and one brother. Of the four children, two are HIV-positive. Denis shows all four including himself - all actors, children from the workshop - and then at the end of the film he says: "Two of these four children are HIV-positive. Can you tell which?"

Victor (14) wants to produce a positive film. He is not HIV-positive, but his mother is. So he is indirectly affected and knows a lot about the problems of daily life with HIV. However, he says that while he thinks about it a lot, it does not negatively affect his relationship to his mother. On the contrary - he feels very connected to his mother and in his film we will see him picking flowers for her.

At the end of the day, we start editing the films. There are only two more videos that need to be shot. One will be a short documentary about Igor's uncle and his family who live with HIV and the other one will be Vitja's film where the 14-year-old boy will compare the disease to his dream hobby, mountain-climbing.
