Highlights

The transition from preschool to primary education is a pivotal moment in a child's educational path. A seamless transition ensures a positive trajectory of accomplishments, preserving the gains of preschool while fostering equity in education.

In our publication, "We are ready! To support children's transitions," we outline four policy actions and interventions to facilitate coordination between early education and primary education in the region.

Despite the diversity of education systems in East Asia and the Pacific, a shared objective emerges: to deliver a quality, cohesive, and uninterrupted educational journey for young learners.
