Mid-term review of priority areas under the ASEAN Regional Plan of Action on the Elimination of Violence against Children 2016-2025

Highlights

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ (ASEAN) Regional Plan of Action on the Elimination of Violence against Children (RPA), 2016-2025, was adopted in November 2015. It provides a comprehensive roadmap to implement the 2013 ASEAN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Children.To assess progress and impact of implementation measures adopted by ASEAN Member States, a Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the RPA was conducted to share best practices and lessons learned to assist Member States implement the RPA and to identify obstacles and constraints and the actions needed to accelerate progress in its implementation. This report provides an overview of progress made since the 2016 Baseline study of priority areas under the ASEAN Regional Plan of Action on the Elimination of Violence against Children: A snapshot as of 2016  in 12 priority areas that were identified for the first five years of the RPA.
