An effective social service workforce is key to preventing and responding to violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect of children. This regional report reviews the progress of 15 countries in East Asia and the Pacific in strengthening and professionalizing their workforces and provides recommendations for countries on planning, developing and supporting their social service workforce.
