From March 2013 to September 2015, UNICEF and three partner organizations (Concern Worldwide, Mercy Corps and Solidarités International) worked together to create what was then the only unconditional cash transfer program to address the humanitarian needs of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) .Funded largely by the UK government's UKaid program, the UNICEF Alternative Responses for Communities in Crisis (ARCC) II program has supported 23,480 displaced families, host families and displaced families returning to their areas of origin in eastern DRC.
Based on the analysis of numerous quantitative and qualitative data collected by ARCC partners, as well as qualitative data collected in the field, both AIR and UNICEF used evaluation methods to investigate the effects of climate change. ARCC II program.
