About

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought havoc across the globe, but it is also accelerating digital learning as never before. In the face of school closures, the Lao PDR Ministry of Education and Sports looked to UNICEF’s Learning Passport, which it adapted and called Khang Panya Lao or Lao Wisdom Warehouse. The country turned to this critical online learning platform to keep children from pre-primary through to Grade 12 learning during school closures but has found additional uses, including for teacher professional development and for pre-primary learners.
