This technical note facilitates the exchange of knowledge on the impact of humanitarian crises on female genital mutilation (FGM) and explores the adoption of the humanitarian-development nexus approach for FGM elimination by drawing on key UNICEF programme and operational strategies for linking humanitarian and development programming to ensure inclusion of FGM in response plans.
