Global Review of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Components in Rapid Response Mechanisms and Rapid Response Teams in Cholera Outbreak Settings

The use of Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) to support the WASH sector has increased, becoming more commonly used as a response to cholera in several countries. The report provides a global review of the different types of RRTs models in use in four country settings. It explores the effectiveness of the operational and performance aspects of the RRTs, along with challenges faced, best practice and lessons learned.
