UNICEF Cholera Toolkit (English, French and Arabic)

The UNICEF Cholera Toolkit provides UNICEF staff and partners with practical resources to implement  an integrated approach to cholera prevention, preparedness and response.  It addresses water, hygiene and sanitation, health and communication for development (C4D) as well as specific content linked to education, nutrition, child protection and other relevant sectors.

The UNICEF Cholera Toolkit is the result of a thorough review of existing guidance and global consultation with specialists in all cholera related fields.  It puts proven guidance, tools and best practices relating to cholera together in one place accessible to everyone.

The UNICEF Cholera Toolkit is made up of three components: the main document, the annexes and the additional resources.  It includes editable versions of many tools that can be used in the field.   While some resources are web based, efforts have been made to provide access to PDF and other versions of documents so that the user does not have to have internet access to be able to use all the resources provided.  Users can download or copy a version and take it with them wherever they go.
