Reducing maternal, newborn and child mortality through the strengthening of the health systems of 10 French-speaking countries of West and Central Africa
Muskoka funds support ten francophone countries in West and Central Africa to strengthen health systems with the aim of reducing maternal, new-born and child mortality. Since 2012, Muskoka funds allow UNICEF Chad to support improvements in maternal and child health in the country, reducing mortality and improving outcomes for both mothers and their children, through the strengthening of health structures and health worker capacity.
