2007 ‘Education for All Global Monitoring Report’
Major progress report on education launched at UNICEF House New York
26 October 2006 - The 2007 "Education for all" report launched today highlights the importance of early childhood development for children to succeed in school.
Every year, the EFA Global Monitoring Report assesses where the world stands on its commitment to provide a basic education to all children, youth and adults by 2015. This year’s report focuses on early childhood care and education and finds it remains the forgotten link in the education chain in most developing regions.
