Mental health is essential to everyone's wellbeing, especially developing children and teenagers, yet it's not a very well-understood and common topic of conversation. Let's change that together.

The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated a profound mental health crisis facing young people worldwide. In Cambodia, UNICEF and its partners Socio-Economic Impact Study found that 45% of surveyed adolescents worried about their safety during the pandemic, and 16% felt more anxious or depressed since the crisis began.
In response to the mental health crisis, UNICEF Cambodia has launched a new campaign called “I Feel Better When…”. Funded by USAID Cambodia, the campaign provides scientific, engaging, and tailored information on mental health. It encourages children and young Cambodians to prioritize their mental health and fight the stigma around it.
On this page, you will find testimonies, videos, graphics, messages, and other assets created as part of the “I Feel Better When…” campaign. UNICEF Cambodia invites partners, schools, and all organizations in Cambodia which are concerned with young people’s mental health to use these assets. If you are a partner who wishes to adapt the assets, please get in touch with us at bbut@unicef.org.
Let’s work together to spread the knowledge and give Cambodian children and youth a better chance at mental health.
