Svetlana and her daughter Vasilisa left Ukraine two months after the start of the conflict. Before the war, they have never left Ukraine.
‘Vasilisa couldn't sleep at night because we were hearing the sirens every night. And she insisted and said, ‘Mom, we should leave’, Svetlana shared.
She is a psychologist. With the support of UNICEF and partners, Svetlana and other Ukrainian mothers established an educational center for over 300 children housed near Varna.
