First Feature TV Series for Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina, "WITHOUT RISK", to be broadcast from 25 May on BiH Public TV Channel, BHT1


Sarajevo, 17 May 2011: The broadcasting of the first feature TV series for young people, produced with the support of UNICEF Bosnia and Herzegovina, will begin on May 25 at 4pm, with re-runs on Thursdays at 9.30 am.


A series consisting of a total of 8 half-hour episodes, titled "Without Risk", was produced in 2009 as a part of the campaign aiming to raise awareness among young people about the risks they face everyday, their consequences and prevention. In addition to the series, video clips about the prevention of drug abuse, alcohol abuse and sexually-transmitted diseases, as well as a music track and a video clip of the same name were also created as a part of the campaign.

The series features a group of young actors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and its neighboring countries: Sabit Sejdinović, Nevena Rosuljaš, Daniel Stanić, Adnan Goro, Vedran Džekić, Vanja Lazin and others. In addition to the cast, a number of famous people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and Macedonia – such as Edin Džeko, Željko Joksimović, Toni Cetinski, Kaliopi, Sergej Ćetković, Davor Ebner and others –also participated in the project. The screenplay for the series was written by Ornela Čolić, and the series was directed by Emir Z. Kapetanović.
