Engaging young volunteers
In the revision of the National Youth Policy of Bhutan

Young volunteers are stepping up efforts to gather more feedback on Bhutan’s National Youth Policy (NYP), 2011.
UNICEF supported the Bhutan Center for Media and Democracy (BCMD) and the Department of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education to train 24 young people including seven adolescents on conducting focus group discussions and reviewing policies.
The volunteers conducted focus group discussions in nine districts and engaged with around 110 young people from various socio-economic backgrounds.
This video also contains the voices of 1,190 young people collected through the online survey.
