Bhutanese Youth-Their Aspirations, Concerns, And Mandate
Druk Journal - Autumn 2021 | Volume 7, Issue 2
The story of UNICEF is the story of our children. Since UNICEF was established, in the aftermath of World War II, we have been at the frontlines of crises by reimagining what is possible and responding by helping millions of children survive and thrive.
For 75 years, we has been working tirelessly for the wellbeing of every child. Whoever they are. Wherever they live. The story of UNICEF is as much a story of people who have worked and who continue to work relentlessly for children.
UNICEF’s story is about hope. It is about reimagining the world for every child. It is about reimagining the future for every child. Anywhere. Everywhere.
As part of the global celebration and to mark UNICEF's 75th anniversary, UNICEF Bhutan partnered with The Druk Journal and partners in supporting the publication of an edition featuring articles on issues facing children and young people. Read more below.
