UNICEF and Ministry of Health & Wellness collaborate to implement capacity development sessions for health workers

Dangriga, BELIZE 28 MAY 2022 - Today, UNICEF Representative to Belize, Alison Parker, and the UNICEF programme team, are on a field visit to the Southern Regional Hospital and Dangriga Polyclinic. Social Policy Specialist, Enkhnasan Nasan-Ulzii, and UNV Health Consultant, Dr. Angella Edith Baitwabusa also joined the discussion. The team listened to presentations from the health workers and managers of the facility about primary health care priorities and needs and how UNICEF can support increasing health outcomes for the children and families of Stann Creek.
