Adolescent Link Up Session focuses on Mental Health

Regional Director hosts adolescent and youth engagement session

Belize City, BELIZE 8 JUNE 2022 - Today the children and adolescent got thier opportunity to have a conversation with UNICEF officials about mental health and how they managed the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Regional Director, Jean Gough was joined by Regional Adolescent Health Specialist, Diane Restrepo Mejia. They listened, they talked and there was fun in there too! The event also included a pleanry session for the Regional Director to field questions as well as testimonials from youth activists and performances from local entertainers. The information shared is to be used to complement adolescent and youth engagement programmes.
