UNICEF Belize has primarily supported activities that lead to the better care and development of children from birth to age 8.

Adolescent Development, Participation and Protection

UNICEF has been supporting activities both within and outside the school system aimed at empowering adolescents and youth with skills to better manage the many social issues that affect their lives.

Knowledge Generation and Management, Social Policy Development

Knowledge generation and management allows for creating and sharing knowledge that allows individual to learn from each other, advocate and influence policies and programmes for children. 

Climate change prevention and emergency response

As a low-lying coastal country, Belize is extremely vulnerable to the effects of natural disasters and climate change episodes, which have been more frequent and severe in the last few years.
