5th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh

Future in Frame

To open a new world of cinema to the children of Bangladesh and to give them an exposure to culture and tradition of different countries through film as a powerful media of art.

Screening Schedule

Feature films, short films, animations and documentaries suitable for children. Films that are made by children and nominated for awards will be shown.

Venues: Dhaka
- Central Public Library Auditorium
   (Shawkat Osman hall & Seminar hall)
- Shishu Academy Auditorium
- British Council Auditorium
- German Cultural Centre Auditorium
- Russian Centre for Science & Culture
- Iran Cultural Centre
- Alliance Francaise de Dacca

And Rajshahi,Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna, Rangpur and Barisal

Central Public Library, Shahbag, Dhaka

Show Timing:
Daily at 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm.

Other events:
- Day-long workshop for children.
- Day-long seminar on children’s film.
- Sharing of experience with children by 3 prominent personalities.

Child Delegates from all over the country: 125

Mainly children. Students of different schools will be organized to come in groups.

Children: Free for children who are under 18 with a parent.
Adult: Over 18 Taka 30

Children's Film Society Bangladesh

With support from UNICEF Bangladesh, the Children’s Film Society is going to organize the 5th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh in Dhaka from 21st to 27th January 2012. The festival is planning to screen more than 200 feature, animation and short films suitable for children from all around the world simultaneously in 6 divisional cities of the country during the week-long festival.
