Children's Voices

Created to mark twenty years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Children's Voices is a collection of drawings that provide insight into the daily joys and tragedies of child rights in Bangladesh. You will read about a girl who is thankful that it is now acceptable for her to play outside; a boy whose employer used him to traffic drugs; and a girl whose brother is always given the only egg at lunchtime. One of the principles enshrined in the CRC is the right of children to express their own views. This book has been created in that spirit of participation.
