Highlights

This guide includes a comprehensive set of tools designed for schools, teachers, and caregivers to examine the level of inclusion at school from various sides, take a look at the needs of students with disabilities, their caregivers, and teachers and be able to design a roadmap on how to tackle the issues, put together individual learning plans for students with disabilities in a professional and informed way, as well as draw upon resources in the community and from the Government. It also includes an advocacy kit for caregivers on inclusive education.

Based on proof-of-concept pilots in Armenia and Uzbekistan, these tools work best when they are used in collaboration between all sides.

It is part of a set of resources, produced by UNICEF, for caregivers of children with disabilities, their teachers and schools.
