Highlights
Vaccinations stand as one of the monumental achievements in healthcare. Over the past two decades, they have been instrumental in saving more than 20 million lives. To give some perspective, 2-3 children tragically succumb to measles outbreaks every single week.
Today, vaccinations are not only among the most effective but also the safest healthcare interventions available. In Armenia, all vaccines listed on the national vaccination calendar are provided through the support of UNICEF. Their quality, safety, and effectiveness are guaranteed by the World Health Organization (WHO).
In a joint effort, UNICEF, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, WHO, and other organizations have collaborated to bolster child vaccination within Armenia. And the good news is that vaccines as per the national schedule are offered free of cost in Armenia.
Inside this brochure, you'll discover comprehensive information about prevalent childhood diseases and the paramount importance of vaccinating against them.
Additionally, it presents the official vaccination schedule as outlined by the Republic of Armenia.
Do your part in ensuring a healthy future for your children—vaccinate them. This brochure also sheds light on various challenges faced by children in difficult life circumstances.
