UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Temporary Appointment for an Health Specialist, P4, Yaoundé, Cameroon.

- Advanced university degree in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Medicine, Public Health,
- Pediatrics Health, Health Research, International Health, Health Policy and Management, Environmental
- Health Sciences, Family Health, Biostatistics, Socio-medical Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Education, or a field relevant to international development assistance in Health.
- Eight years of professional work experience at the national and international levels in planning, programming, implementation monitoring and evaluation of health programmes relevant to child survival, health care.
- Professional work experience in a managerial position, or a technical expert position in health, and child survival & health care.
- Background/familiarity with Emergency and gender mainstreaming.
- Fluency in English and another UN language. Knowledge of the local working language of the duty station would be an asset.
