Consultancy assignment: Communication for Development and FO Kachin and Rakhine

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultancy  to support Communication for Development activities in Kachin and Rakhine.

Qualification or Specialized Knowledge/Experience Required:

• Advanced educational degree in social science, public health or communication for development.
• Strong technical knowledge of qualitative analysis for the purpose of action-oriented interventions.
• Knowledge of latest communication process, approaches and community practices.
• Strategic communication for behaviour and social change training experience at international level including monitoring and evaluation of behaviour change results
• Minimum eight years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national and international levels in social development including in designing strategies and plan of actions for advocacy, social mobilization, behaviour change, monitoring and evaluation.
• Knowledge of UNICEF’s C4D approaches and strategy work.
• Strong writing and communication skills and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience from emergencies desired with an understanding of implementing C4D with both a conflict sensitive and development lens.
