UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a TA for a Documentation Assistant, GS-4, New York.

- Completion of Secondary Education (e.g. High School Diploma) is a minimum requirement. A specialized certificate in library science or archiving is considered an asset. Additional progressive formal training, self-learning in functional area(s) and/or completion of relevant university degree/credit courses is considered an asset.

- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant administrative work experience is required.

- Advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Suite of Products (including MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint) as well as databases for entering and updating information is required.

- Prior knowledge and hands-on experience in the use of an electronic document and records management system, specifically HP Records Manager / HP TRIM is required.

- Prior knowledge and hands-on experience in electronic registering & tracking documents (including relevant workflows) and archiving documents (electronically and via hard-copy) is required.

- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.


Duration is for 364 days. No travel will be undertaken in this position.
