Zimbabwe Child Protection Fund

The Child Protection Fund (CPF) 2011-2013 is a multi donor pooled fund in support of the National Action Plan for Orphans and Vulnerable Children from 2011 to 2015. CPF adopts a national child sensitive social protection approach. The vision of NAP II is that by 2020 all children in Zimbabwe will live in a safe, secure and supportive environment that is conducive to child growth and development.

Zimbabwe Educational Transition Fund

In response to the challenges in the education sector, the Education Transition Fund (ETF) was launched in September 2009 by the Ministry of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture (MoESAC), and was aimed at improving the quality of education for children through the provision of essential teaching and learning materials for primary schools, and high level technical assistance to MoESAC.

Zimbabwe Small Towns' Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Programme

The Small Towns' Water and Sanitation Programme builds on the urban water and sanitation programmes implemented by UNICEF and other partners during 2009-2012. It will contribute to closing the gap in the currently underfunded urban WASH sector. By focusing on small towns the programme, will complement other related initiatives on medium and large towns.
