EXPRESSION OF INTEREST EOI ZIM/2014/003-0 - DEVELOPMENT OF WEB-ENABLED APPLICATION SYSTEM FOR SPECIFIC INTERNAL OFFICE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES - ZIMBABWE.
The UNICEF Zimbabwe Country Office is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from experienced, certified and competent institutions to design, develop and implement a comprehensive computerised and web-enabled “Operations Management System” addressing improved operations and administrative management of the office. This activity will support the migration of current systems from its Lotus Domino/Notes infrastructure to Microsoft Exchange/Outlook platform.
This opportunity is open to institutions only (of preference located in Zimbabwe) and not to individual consultants/programmers. The scope of work will include a review and assessment of current existing systems and system architecture, defining requirements, software designing and development of new systems/databases, testing and commissioning , organizing, extracting and migrating current systems to the new platform, preparing all documentation, training of administrators and users, managing migration and providing maintenance and support. The selected institution will be expected to initiate immediate implementation after award of a contract.
Institutions must have past experience and provide evidence of having executed similar jobs for other national/international agencies, have suitable qualified programmers and managers in their employment, and demonstrate high capability and understanding of the works to be executed

Institutions, once accepted, will also be considered for other similar works that may arise in the future.
