Meeting the development needs of Zimbabwe requires strong partnerships with other actors.

To achieve this, UNICEF has developed and maintained alliances at different levels of society to ensure that children and women are given the best chance for survival, development and protection.

The growing need to overcome all the challenges that hinder the quality of life of Zimbabweans, has prompted UNICEF to foster relations with the Government of Zimbabwe, the international donor community, the local Non-Governmental organizations and the private sector in the country to overcome development challenges in the areas of HIV and AIDS, water and sanitation, young child survival and development, education and child protection.
