To mark the day of the African Child UNICEF in West Africa is publishing a paper on the effects on children of the recent financial shocks in association with the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre, based in Florence, Italy. The brief highlights how the effects will have long term effects on some of the most vulnerable children in the world and push many further back into poverty.
