Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

Promoting Children’s Participation

CWWF Manifesto

The Children's World Water Forum Manifesto presents forum delegates’ key recommendations for young people and decision makers.

It calls upon decision makers to give first priority to school sanitation and hygiene education, emphasizing the need for budget reallocations to maintain or improve the infrastructure.

Drawing from their own experiences delegates provided concrete examples of how better decision maker-youth cooperation in the sector make a difference. Delegates also called for more training on the issues, including with respect to the legal status of water.
