MTV's Staying Alive Contest: Vlogit

Have a good idea on how to educate others about HIV and AIDS? Vlogit!

Young people are the key to an AIDS-free generation, yet have the highest percentage of new HIV infections. Because AIDS spreads fastest where the greatest inequalities reside, young women are often two to three times more likely to be HIV-positive than young men. To make matters worse, stigma and discrimination create further obstacles to prevention and treatment.

As part of the Unite for Children. Unite against AIDS campaign, MTV's Staying Alive and UNICEF want you to be part of a global video project that gives young people the chance to have their say about HIV and AIDS. What would you do to educate others? What do young people need to protect themselves and their communities against? Tell us more and enter the competition!

Apply now!  Contest ends 14 February 2006.  Open to anyone between 16 and 25 years of age.
