In 2005, UNICEF held the first J8 Summit event, the J8 Children’s Forum, alongside the G8 meeting in Scotland. Only a year later, the participants from the J8 Summit 2006 had a chance to share and discuss their views directly with G8 leaders.Now, the J8 Summit is taking place in Japan.
