From 7 to 18 July 2006, the Junior 8 summit was hosted by Russia in St. Petersburg. A delegation of 64 young people, 8 young people from each G8 country, traveled to St. Petersburg and discussed topics on the G8 2006 agenda as well as other issues important to children and young people around the world.
