Finally, as the world's population grows and natural resources are used up, more and more people are recognizing the importance of not wasting those resources. This is important wherever you live, in a developed or a developing country, and it is something that each of us can help with. If you live where water is scarce, conserving this precious commodity is crucial. If you live in a developed country, you could help reduce pollution by not wasting electricity or water and by recycling waste where possible.
