Chiman and Herow study together in the village of Kanikhan, west of the autonomously administered northern region of Iraq But perhaps an imperfect education is better than no education at all. If school helps you develop some basic skills, for example, and you learn how to get along with your classmates, and once given the chance, girls show they can do as well as boys, that's all a step in the right direction. Not to mention, if we wait until perfect schools can be provided, a lot of children could be waiting a long time! |
