• These words blame and defame (unfairly insult or speak evil of) the children who are sexually exploited. Children are not responsible for the sex trade.  It is the perpetrators, those who profit from the trade, and those who pay for sex with children, who should be held responsible. Whether or not the authorities have done everything they can to prevent the trade and help the children until now should also be questioned.

• What do other people think? And above all, what do the children themselves think? Why do we not hear their views and allow them to tell their own stories?
