• This sort of reporting actually makes children more vulnerable, by encouraging people to think about them in a sexual way and as objects of exploitation.
• This girl might well be ‘sad’. But the crucial point is: how can we know what she is like if we do not hear from her? This girl should have a voice in this story and an opportunity to tell her story herself.
• We must in all cases respect this girl's privacy: we cannot use her name or her picture.
